Dear Friends,
Construction of a regional headquarters and service center for Global freight transporter Averitt Express is underway on 30 acres in Interwood, a Wolff Companies development at the entrance to George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Averitt Express is building a 62,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art office and terminal service facility at the southeast corner of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Heathrow Forest Parkway. The Averitt Express center will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Interwood's strategic proximity to IAH's cargo facilities and major ground transportation corridors was the main attraction for Averitt.

The densely wooded, 440-acre Interwood business park is conveniently situated at Sam Houston Parkway (North Belt) and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, between I-45 and U.S. 59. The park is ideally suited for office, service center, hotel, conference center, retail, and warehouse/distribution uses. Available sites in Interwood range from 2 to 16 acres. [ view the site plan ]
Also in Interwood…Federal Express occupies a $12 million, 125,000-square-foot regional hub and the U.S. Postal Service's 734,000-square-foot regional center serves more than 13,600 square miles and a population of almost five million people. U.S. FoodServices' regional headquarters and distribution facility encompasses 180,000 square feet and serves the Southeast Texas region.
Interwood also has prime office locations available. Current owner occupants and tenants such as NuFlo Technologies, First Health, ExxonMobil Production, and Veolia Water North America.
