The Invensys Building moves to the head of the class-as a Landmark Awards finalist for Best Office Building Development. This is third time in the last five years that Westway Park, the master-planned office park developed by Wolff Companies, or a Westway Park building, has been a finalist in the awards sponsored by the Houston Business Journal.

The new, 93,000-square-foot Western Hemisphere headquarters of UK-based Invensys Systems, Inc. showcases the process controls firm’s technology in a building designed to welcome its global client base. The headquarters move brought 230 local employees under one roof, while locating them in a building designed to expand for future growth.

Owned, and developed by SG/Westway Office, Ltd., the state-of-the-art corporate office and technology showroom was designed by Ambrose, McEnany and House and built by Rosenberger Construction. The Landmark Award also recognized broker Equis Corp., financier American National Insurance and mortgage banker Live Oak Capital in its Invensys Building nomination.

More than 75% of Westway Park land has been sold, with only a few prime locations remaining.
