Another corporate headquarters heads to Westway Park.

The MedLeh Group has acquired a site for their new headquarters in the Wolff Companies mixed-use development located at Clay Road and the West Sam Houston Tollway.

Designed by Gensler, The MedLeh Group's two-story building will encompass almost 22,000 square feet on two acres at the southwest corner of Equity Park Drive and Westway Park Boulevard. Construction is expected to commence this summer.

The MedLeh Group is a corporate and legal document services company that provides imaging, document conversion, binding, coding and digital printing.

The MedLeh Group is the latest in a spate of companies leaving the Galleria area in favor of the West Belt area, where Westway Park is located. As the Central Business District and the Galleria/West Loop markets report vacancy rates at almost 20 percent, Westway Park is fully occupied. Other distinguished companies that have made Westway Park their home base include: Fortune 1000 company BJ Services and global technology and instrumentation firm Invensys, PLC.

In other news around the park… Seismic Exchange, Inc. is expanding to almost double its office space. La Quinta Inn & Suites is now open and The Plazas at Westway Park, an upscale retail development by Vista Equities, is nearing completion. The Broadstone at Westway Park, a luxury apartment community by Alliance Communities, is leasing homes with a unique amenity next door: the Carolyn Wolff Park nature preserve, a special place of beauty permanently preserved within Westway Park.
