Dear Friends,
Wolff Companies marks another milestone…The last land sale in Windfern Forest, just north of U.S. 290 on the Sam Houston Tollway, signals the successful completion of this master-planned development.
The 3.6-acre tract will be the site of a new Eckerd's store, to be built by Gulf Coast Commercial. The site is at the southwest corner of Gessner and Philippine Street, facing the Stoneyway Village townhome development, one block east of the Sam Houston Tollway. The northeast corner of the intersection is the site of a recently opened CVS Pharmacy.

Like neighboring Jersey Village, Windfern Forest has attracted high quality residential development spurred by jobs flowing to engineering, geosciences, business and energy services, computer hardware and software companies along the “Sam Houston Techway.”
Windfern retail development has followed in the path of residential and apartment developers David Weekley Homes, Trendmaker, Gross Investments, Trammell Crow Residential and Smithsonian Developers .
Joe Rollins with Shelby Estus Realty represented Gulf Coast in the transaction.
Wolff Companies earned a reputation for quality commercial developments, by maintaining superior standards for building materials, landscaping and signage. The Company has played a major role in the development of several highly desirable residential properties. Wolff Companies participated in developing residential communities on Barker Cypress Road, near US 290, and in Windfern Forest.
